Terms of Sale (effective August 2005)We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Unless otherwise clearly noted, all merchandise is new and covered by warranty. We offer warranties on all items, subject to the terms below. Please read all information. To help prevent delays or problems when ordering, please make sure you:
Section 1: GeneralWE PAY freight to all U.S. continental borders only. Additional postage or shipping costs apply beyond. Please contact us for specific costs. We do not absorb the freight for any traffic outside the borders of the continental U.S. This includes the postage for returns for exchange or similar, unless otherwise noted or agreed to by Shock Shop USA in advance. This is the Official site for pricing, and prices on this site will apply. Ads on other sites online may not have current pricing, and the pricing shown on this site is correct. ALL PRICES are subject to change at any time, but if you contact us about an item on this site, the price is guaranteed for (8) days or longer if we cause the delay. Section 2: SalesWhile Shock Shop USA stands behind all products we sell, and wants your repeat business. However, all sales are final. No cash refunds will be issued unless we are unable to replace a defective item with a comparable unit. If we have made a mistake, we will exchange the merchandise at no cost to you. If the mistake was the customer's, the customer agrees to pay all freight charges for the returned and replaced items. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We reserve the right to replace a damaged, bad, or wrong shock shipped. NO CASH REFUNDS UNLESS we cannot replace a defective shock with a comparable shock. If, at our selection, we decide to allow a shipment to be returned for cash, the cash amount will be determined by the expenses we have of an individual shipment, details WILL be explained. i.e., original price to customer, less all postage incurred by the Shock Shop USA. Section 3: ModificationsIf a customer requests a certain shock number, and we are out of that item at time of shipment, we may make minor changes that adapts the substituted shock to the spec's of the shock in the customers request. Modified shocks will still meet or exceed the manufacturer's specifications for the items you ordered. We do not modify a shock if it is evident that there would be problems in doing so. We warrant all shocks that we choose to modify or substitute in place of the customer requested shock number, to the same extent as the customers requested shock number is, or would be warranted. If you do not want us to supply a modification of your shock, in the event we are out of the particular number, just state "NO MODIFICATIONS PLEASE" on your order. Please note that unless specified on your order, shocks may be sent in some other color than expected. We will try to ship shocks in the desired colors when possible and included on your order. Also, depending on the source, identical shock absorbers may show different model numbers. It is common practice in the industry to issue identical shocks under different numbers for different distributors. WE have received hundreds of complimentary letters of appreciation for our efforts to fill the customers orders. Section 4: Shipping & ReplacementsWe may repackage and reinforce boxes to protect your merchandise. Should a shipment arrive damaged, please notify us immediately, and also notify the carrier and retain all packaging material from the shipment. In the event of damage or a defective unit, we will replace it immediately under the terms of our warranty. Please keep in mind that we sell our shocks by the single unit,NOT in PAIRS, although they are priced in PAIRS for customer convenience. Replacements will be to individual shocks, and not pairs. If you receive a shock that is an unsuitable fit, call us or send an e-mail, and we will advise and take immediate action to exchange, if necessary. Any necessary replacement that occurs will be replaced FREE, up to 30 days. After 30 days, the customer will pay the postage within the continental U. S only. WE DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PAY FOR ANY CHARGES OUTSIDE THE CONTINENTAL U.S., including return freight. Section 5: Return Shipment ProceduresThere will be no exchanges or refunds for abuse or noticeable physical damage if we determine the damage happened ON the vehicle. All claims regarding damage, requests for exchange, return authorization, or similar must be made via e-mail, fax, or postal mail. DO NOT return any shocks without first notifying us of the problem, and obtaining authorization for return. THERE ARE NO exceptions to this rule. Shock Shop USA will neither accept responsibility nor allow returns for the following reasons:
